i recently purchased a samsung captivate from radioshack. i love the samsung captivate but the data plan is useless since i dont need it. RS will only let me do an exchance but the phones they carry i don't like. so, can i sell my smartphone, samsung captivate, buy a non smartphone, AND remove the data plan? by the way, i have att.

I'm looking into getting a new phone finally in November, but i figured I'd start researching now until I was 100 percent sure which one i would want. I have Verizon wireless and I'm also an avid texter. its my main way of communication between my friends and I. I have larger hands so I'm not sure if a blackberry would be suitable for me I've tried it out a few times and I know for a fact the buttons are way to small for my liking . Any ideas on which smartphone I should choose?I'm looking for something in the Android family, maybe the Droid X, or Droid 2?

I've been looking into getting a smartphone but my friends use blackberry messenger. Can you still use blackberry messenger on a smartphone? Or what would you use to Communicate? Does it mean you have go back to text messaging?I think it would suck to be restricted to what you buy because of one application but I use blackberry messenger all the time but the smart phones look like they are capable of much more... Droid 2 vs Droid X, which smartphone is better?
Ok, so I have been looking for a new smartphone, since my G1 is out of date. I have seem all the Android phones that are available, and I'm stuck between the Droid 2 and Droid X. So if you have one or the other, or are experienced with the, please tell me which is better, or which you prefer... and yes I know that G1 is T Mobile and Droid is Verizon, I'm switching companies cuz ima save more money per monthMy family is adding a line for me and with them, I pay less

Question about Smartphone Plan with Alltel?
I was looking to get a smartphone gut didn't want to pay a lot of money, my wife already has a blackberry and i was wanting to get one too. We already have the basic smartphone plan, if i bought a Blackberry as well would it cost any more a month? and if so how much? Again this is with Alltel
What to get: Smartphone, iPad, Netbook, or MacBook Pro?
I use a $20 laptop. I only use it for photoshop.My phone is nothing special. I use Audio Recording programs. I'm starting online school soon.I recently sold all my other electronics and am not sure what would be best for my situation.I'm on the go a lot. I find myself being frustrated I cannot do research on the road or at stores. I use facebook and its games a lot which leans me towards getting a smart phone. My only concern is price. What do you guys pay a month for an Evo iPhone?I could also use the phone I have now. But use an iPad for things such as browsing the web and games. But, it doesn't use flash like a netbook. But doesn't an iPad connect to the internet anywhere? Maybe this is what I need to do research in my car.Or perhaps I should upgrade my laptop with a Netbook. It's cheaper then a full out macbook Pro. But I can use Photoshop easier. It is also a lot cheaper. Is there anything I can get so I can connect to the internet from anywhere? Info on that please.Then there's a MacBook Pro. It's not as travel friendly, and it's costly.. But I can do my artwork full out games and recording. No monthly payments I leech internet, lol . And It will replace my Mac Pro I recently sold so I can do my music again. What do you guys think? What I'm thinking Hmm, I just don't know. Do I want to have a smartphone where I can make paypal transactions at a craigslisters house rather than carry a wad of cash?
